Master of Education

I am currently working on my Masters Degree. I am insanely busy researching some of the most boring things one could imagine. One thing I love about teachers is we can always make a boring subject fun. This picture is from a presentation I did on Educational Progressivism. There is an important philosophical analogy to go along with this little guy, with which I won't bore you!

  1. From a credentialing student to a teacher: bore me, please. It might help me with this weekend's assignment.

  2. The way this exercise worked is, everyone got a different color of playdough and a body part. They were to build that body part and add it to our collective body. The progressivism analogy is that every student has a unique point of view and learning style. In order to have a whole-person education, we need to allow for all learning styles in the classroom.
